My wife Shelle Lynn Rice and I have three children: Greyson, Hudson and Harper. • Joe Lanman

    Associate Pastor

I grew up in a small town in northern Virginia, Lovettsville (we didn’t even have a traffic light). I graduated from Loudoun Valley High School. My wife Kristen and I have lived in Charlotte since 2006 and have three crazy boys and one sweet baby girl. Our family enjoys an active lifestyle #F3metro, the outdoors #getoutside, traveling #adventure, and good food with good company #fellowship. We’d be delighted to invite you for dinner, but you’d probably never recover nor return. We host international students and are known in our neighborhood and among friends for our open door policy. Kristen and I own and operate a couple of local children-focused businesses in the South Park area where we are passionate about coaching and mentoring young leaders.

  • Shelle Page

    Children's Director

I have lived in the Charlotte area for 29 years and have been a member of Sharon Baptist Church during those years. I met my husband Robbie at SBC. We have been married for 12 years and are parents to Greyson, Hudson and Harper (the first Page female in 50 years). My undergraduate degree is Early Childhood Education and my work background has remained focused in that area. I have been the Children’s Director at SBC since 2015. It is my joy to be a part of Sharon’s ministering team, to meet families with young children in the community, to spend time getting to know them and to teach their children about Jesus.

  • Bryan Coffey

    Youth Director

After spending years in the business world, I accepted my dream job. In March 2015, I became the Youth Director at Sharon Baptist. As a member of this ministering staff, I am able to share my skills and passion for leading, training and helping youth and families grow closer to Jesus. My wife Carol and I are native Charlotteans and are parents to Kendall, Kirby and Hank. I coach basketball, love to hike, cherish family time, follow University of South Carolina sports, volunteer with The Abandon Project and am a short term mission volunteer to Russia.

  • Ray Register

    Minister of Music

I graduated from Carson Newman College, Jefferson City, TN, and have a Bachelor of Music Degree with a minor in Church Recreation. My music degree has a focus in vocal/choral music with a vocal performance emphasis. I began leading music as a high school junior and continued to do so while completing my undergraduate degree. For over 20 years, I worked in the insurance business, but a motorcycle accident in September 2009 changed my direction. During the months of recovery, I sensed God was calling me back into the music ministry. In February 2010, God opened the door for me to join the staff at SBC as Minister of Music. Working with the choir allows me to create both a joyful noise and a sense of family among the members. RaLinda and I have been married 25 years, have 3 children: Hayden, Haley and Hannah. We call Rock Hill home.
